The Dallas Entrepreneurial Political Action Committee (DALEN PAC) was founded in 1978 by Arthur Wessely, Louis Beecherl Jr., Bob Pickens, Bill Pickens, Frank West and Al Wiederkehr.

Originally called.The Dallas Energy PAC, its name was changed to reflect the more varied interests of its trustees and governors. DALENPAC supports conservative, pro-business candidates for the U.S. House of Representatives and U.S. Senate with an emphasis on "Wildcat" or long-shot races. The supporters of the PAC are men and women who have had successful business careers and are committed to keeping free enterprise, pro-growth principles in our government.

In 38 years of existence, DALENPAC has given over $4,000,000 to candidates and participated in events that have raised over $50,000,000 for House and Senate candidates.
